Metro-North operates commuter rail service on three lines from Grand Central Terminal on 42 Street in New York City.

The Long Island Rail Road operates commuter rail service on Long Island to and from Manhattan


MTA New York City Transit (the subway) has five trains that stop at Grand Central Station (below Grand Central Terminal).
They are the 4,5,6 (Lexington Avenue Line) 7 (Flushing Line) and S (Times Square Shuttle).
